信息学院研究生高水平学术讲座 – 余昕教授学术报告

    2017年5月26日,中科大校友,Case Western Reserve University(CWRU)生物医学工程教授余昕应邀到电子科学与技术系医学影像中心进行学术交流,并在科大中区医学楼108室做了一场题为“Metabolic Mapping Using X-Nuclei Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Imaging”的学术报告。

    余昕教授从心脏多核谱成像展开讲解,介绍了心脏中ATP产生代谢机制以及多核谱在糖尿病及其它疾病中的应用。讲解了她们开发的快速、高分辨率31P&17O MRSI方法的经验,这些方法可通过活体小鼠模型评估人类疾病代谢活动。其中设计到的技术包括:(1)利用光谱成像的空间光谱校正(SPICE)技术实现动态31P-MRSI,(2)通过31P磁共振指纹图谱(MRF)定量代谢率,以及(3)使用超短回波时间(UTE)的高分辨率17O MRSI和基于黄金角度的(golden-angle-based)编码。最后,余昕教授介绍了她的科研团队情况。报告结束后,余教授与同学们进行了深入的探讨与交流,对同学们提出的问题和疑惑也是耐心讲解。

Author’s Bio:

  Dr. Xin Yu is currently Professor of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Her main research interest is at the interface of MR physics and cellular/molecular physiology. She has broad experiences in cardiac imaging and spectroscopy, and their applications to the investigation of cardiac and metabolic diseases such as diabetes. She has been the principal investigator and co-investigator of numerous projects funded by National Institute of Health, etc.
