信息学院研究生高水平学术讲座 - Anna V. Naumova教授学术报告

     2016年6月20日,美国华盛顿大学Anna V. Naumova教授应邀到电子科学技术系医学影像中心访问,在西区三教3109室做了题为“Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Heart Regeneration”的学术报告,参加的人员主要来自科大23系的相关师生和安医大附院的医生。

    Anna V. Naumova在报告中讲到,基于干细胞衍生物的移植心脏再生,在临床应用研究中是一个快速发展的领域。我们已经证明人胚胎干细胞衍生的心肌细胞移植在小型和大型动物心肌梗死后,会导致重新肌化和新血管的伴随向内生长。本讲座讨论了使用非侵入性成像的移植细胞标记和可视化的方法,并通过结合理论和具体应用讨论直接和间接(基因)细胞标记方法的优点和缺点。

Author’s Bio:

Anna Naumova has obtained her PhD degree at the Institute of Cardiology, Tomsk, Russia. Dr. Naumova studied metabolism and contractile function of the heart using MRI and spatially localized MR spectroscopy during her postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University.  Dr. Naumova has joined Vascular Imaging Laboratory at the University of Washington in 2005 as a postdoctoral fellow and became a faculty at the Department of Radiology in 2010. In collaboration with Charles Murry (Department of Pathology, University of Washington) Dr. Naumova is studying myocardium regeneration using human embryonic stem cell derived cardiomyocytes. Her research interests are focuses on developing novel genetically-based MRI reporters to study transplanted cell fate and function. Dr. Naumova received several awards for her accomplishments in science and as a speaker.
